很多娱乐节目都曾经盘点过历史上经典的“荧幕伴侣”，他们在荧幕上的爱情故事可能曾经感动了很多人，也可能很多观众会误以为他们在现实生活中也是一对。他们这样的恋情就叫做showmance(荧幕恋情)。

Showmance means the romance actors engage in for the run of a show. Once the run is over so is the romance.

荧幕恋情(showmance)是演员在戏剧表演中上演的恋情。表演结束时，恋情也随之终结。

The term originated in the theater and moved to movies and scripted television and then reality television. The term has now moved to the populace to describe any contrived romance.

这个说法初现于剧院表演，后来适用范围扩展到电影、电视剧以及真人秀电视节目。现在，这个词已经可以用来描述任何形式的虚假恋情了。

For example:

A: I didn't know Anthony and Cicely were dating.

我没听说安东尼和西塞莉在谈恋爱啊。

B: It's just a showmance, Cicely is just dating Anthony just to make Edgar jealous.

那不过是荧幕恋情而已，西塞莉跟安东尼约会就是为了让埃德加嫉妒。
