"Transformers: The Age of Extinction" broke box office records both domestically and internationally, nabbing over 90 million U.S. dollars in China during its opening weekend, the biggest debut in the county's movie history.

The 3D sci-fi franchise film(科幻大片) also claimed the crown(夺冠) of being the first movie(电影) in North America(北美) to bust the 100-million-dollar mark —the best opening(最好开局) this year on the continent to date(到目前为止).

Also seeing high box office(票房) numbers in Russia(俄罗斯) and South Korea(韩国), "Age of Extinction" has so far raked in(赚钱) over 300-million dollars worldwide.
