生活英语──诈骗简讯

linda and cathy went out for lunch together. while they were having a nice chat, linda received a text message.

linda跟cathy中午一起去吃饭，两个人聊得正开心时，linda突然接到一通简讯。

linda: i got a text that says i have been summoned to court! let me click on the link and see what it’s for.

linda：简讯说我有一张法院传票耶！我点去看一下。

cathy: wait!

cathy：等等！

linda: what is it?

linda：怎麼了吗？

cathy: it’s a smishing scam!

cathy：那是诈骗简讯啦！

linda: how do you know?

linda：妳怎知道？

cathy: duh! which court would send a text to notify a defendant of a court hearing?

cathy：你是头脑不清楚吗？哪一家法院的传票会用一通简讯来告知被告的？

linda: true!

linda：也对喔！

cathy: it was only last week that there was news on tv warning us to beware of text message scams.

cathy：上星期电视新闻才提醒大家要小心诈骗简讯。

linda: well, i never saw it!

linda：我没有看到嘛！

cathy: if you click on the link, your contacts and other personal information will be stolen! a trojan horse might even be installed in your cell phone!

cathy：如果你点这个网址，它就会窃取你手机里的通讯录还有一些个人资料，说不定还会放入木马程式到你手机里呢！

linda: what’s a trojan horse?

linda：木马程式是什麼？

cathy: it’s a kind of malware that allows people to hack into your cell phone and steal all your personal information.

cathy：木马程式就是种恶意软体，能让人骇进你的手机，窃走你所有个人资讯。

linda: oh my gosh, that’s scary!

linda：天呀！好恐怖。

cathy: hurry up and delete the text!

cathy：你赶紧把这简讯删掉吧！

linda: i had no idea scammers were so “smart” these days!

linda：没想到现在连犯罪都这麼进步了！

cathy: it took you long enough to realize that!

cathy：你现在才知道？
