生活英语──应付愤怒的顾客
hailey works at a furniture store. today, she had an angry customer coming in, complaining about their delivery of a faulty sofa bed.
hailey在家俱店工作。她今天遇到一位愤怒的顾客抱怨收到一张有瑕疵的沙发床。
hailey: good morning, ma’am. how can i help you?
hailey:早安,女士。有什么需要帮忙的吗?
stacey: where’s your manager? i need to speak with him.
stacey:你们的经理在哪?我要跟他谈谈。
hailey: i’m afraid he had to go to our other store today. is there anything i can help you with?
hailey:抱歉,他今天得去其他间分店。有什麼我能帮上忙的吗?
stacey: i bought a sofa bed from here the other day and i found a big hole in the mattress when it was delivered.
stacey:我之前在这间店买了张沙发床,送来的时候我发现有个大洞在床垫上。
hailey: i’m terribly sorry about that. i can’t believe our warehouse would ship a damaged piece of furniture.
hailey:我很抱歉。真的狠难以置信我们的仓储竟然出货了有缺陷的家俱。
stacey: neither can i! you would think a reputable store like yours would have stricter quality control! you know, i’ve been buying furniture from your store for the past 10 years. how could you sell something like that to a loyal customer?
stacey:我也无法相信!谁都会认为像你们这样有声誉的店家会有更严格的品管!你要知道,我过去十年来都在这里买家俱。你们怎么可以卖这样的东西给忠实客户呢?
hailey: ma’am, we appreciate your loyalty toward our store and i assure you we will take care of the situation. do you have the receipt with you?
hailey:女士,我们很感激您对本店的支持,我向您保证我们会处理此事。您有带收据吗?
stacey: you’d better! here’s the receipt. i’ve got to have a sofa by next monday. my son is coming to stay with me for a week.
stacey:你们最好要做到!收据在这。我下礼拜一之前就得拿到沙发。我儿子要来待一週。
hailey: i understand. i’m sure we can fix the problem for you, ma’am.
hailey:我了解。我保证我们会处理好您的问题。
