职场会话──面试准备

nina is a senior at college who majors in economics. since she is graduating this year, apart from preparing her resume, she has also prepared answers to some of the possible job interview questions.

nina是大四的经济系学生，由於今年快毕业了，她除了準备撰写履历外，也顺便準备一些英语面试时可能会遇到的问题与答案。

question: what do you do when you encounter setbacks at work?

问题：请问妳工作上如果遇到挫折时，你会怎样处理？

answer: i usually go to those who are more experienced for advice on how to deal with the problems. in terms of stress or emotional problems, i exercise or take courses to stop them from getting the better of me.

答案：我会先请教前辈该如何解决问题，至於自己压力或情绪的问题，应该透过运动或进修的方式，减低对身心的衝击。

question: what do you like to do in your free time?

问题：妳平常喜欢做哪些活动？

answer: i like to jog, watch movies and read books. i also like traveling abroad. it can not only allow me to relax, but also understand the different cultures around the world better.

答案：平时我喜欢慢跑、看电影还有阅读书籍，另外我也喜欢出国旅游，不但可以放鬆，也可以多多了解其它地方的文化。

question: if we sent you overseas to work, would you be okay with that?

问题：如果要派到海外地区工作，可以接受吗？

answer: yes, i’d be happy to go wherever the company needs me to go.

答案：只要公司需要我在哪里，我都狠乐意前往。

question: what are your career goals?

问题：请问妳对职场生涯的规划為何？

answer: i hope to develop competence in the areas of marketing planning and market analysis and a better understanding of the company’s current and future industry chain so that i can become a marketing professional.

答案：我期待能熟捻行销企划与市场分析的领域，并希望能多了解公司產业链的现况与未来，让自己能够慢慢成為一位专业的企业干部。

question: what is your expected salary?

问题：请问妳觉得多少薪资是目前可以接受的？

answer: i think it is up to my employer to decide how much i’m worth. however, when i’m offered a salary, i do want to know why i’m worth that figure.

答案：我想我的价值应该由雇主来决定，不过企业报薪水的数字给我时，我也希望知道我為何等值於那样的数字。

question: what would you do if you found out that your supervisor was taking bribes from suppliers?

问题：如果妳发现妳的主管收受厂商贿赂，那妳会怎麼做？

answer: i would notify the audit or human resources department after i have collected sufficient proof.

答案：我会在确认有足够的事证后，告知稽核室或人事单位。

question: how do you feel about working overtime?

问题：请问妳对於加班的看法如何？

answer: i believe the need to work overtime is the result of one’s lack of ability. if i’m unable to complete the tasks i’m given, it is only fair that i put in extra time to get the work done.

答案：一切以完成工作為重，会需要加班应该是自己能力不足所致，多花些时间在工作上，也是应该的。
