The Ministry of Transport is considering creating a unified taxi-calling platform integrating taxi calling apps, phone services and websites.
交通运输部正在考虑建立统一的召车平台，整合手机软件召车、电话召车和网络约车等多种方式。

According to the ministry, the platform(平台) will be able to transfer all the call requests(召车需求) from various sources(不同来源) to one terminal(终端) in a taxi. Mobile app developers are encouraged to participate in(参与) the construction(建设) of the platform.

More and more taxi drivers(的士司机) in China are using taxi app services(打车软件服务) to supplement their business. Popular apps Didi and KuaiDi are backed by Chinese Internet giants(巨头) Tencent and Alibaba respectively.

The ministry is soliciting(征求) public opinions(公众意见) on this move until June 10.
