The phrase is taken from a sentence "Being in love is easy, being married is not. It is to be cherished" which is posted by Chinese actress Ma Yili on her Sina Weibo account after her husband Wen Zhang, who is also an actor, made a public apology to his wife for his extramarital affairs on March 30.

3月30日凌晨0点4分,文章发布微博,首度承认与姚笛的婚外恋,并就此道歉.其妻子马伊琍随后发微博回应"恋爱虽易,婚姻不易,且行且珍惜." (Being in love is easy, being married is not. It is to be cherished).

随着该事件持续发酵, "文章出轨门"已经漂洋过海到了全球各地,出现在多家国外媒体的版面上.包括英国BBC、《每日邮报》、美国美联社、《纽约每日新闻报》、等多家外媒都对此事进行了报道.

Wen Zhang hit out at the two senior journalists who exposed his affair. "…You both have children. When will you stop? If you want to play, play with me alone and don't involve others…" he posted.
