生活英语：买乌龙茶

ashley has come to taiwan to attend an international conference. having heard her students in america saying that taiwan’s oolong tea is very famous, she decided to ask annie, another scholar who is from taiwan, where she can buy low-cost, high-value oolong tea.

ashley来台湾参加完国际会议，听她在美国的学生讲，台湾的乌龙茶狠有名，她今天问了在台湾的另一位学者annie，哪里可以买到物美价廉的乌龙茶。

ashley: the conference is finally over.

ashley：会议总算结束了。

annie: yeah! so when are you heading back to the states?

annie：是呀！你打算何时回美国？

ashley: the day after tomorrow i think. but before i go, there’s something i want to buy.

ashley：应该是后天吧！不过在回去前，我想买一样东西。

annie: what is it?

annie：你想买什么？

ashley: i heard that taiwan’s oolong tea is very famous, but i don’t know where i should buy it from.

ashley：听说台湾的乌龙茶狠有名，但我不晓得该去哪里买才好。

annie: well, you’ve come to the right person!

annie：这你就问对人了！

ashley: do you know someone who sells it?

ashley：你有认识的人在卖吗？

annie: my dad is a big tea drinker. he knows the owner of a taiwanese tea company and has been buying tea from him for the past 20 to 30 years. i just brought some to the office at my school actually.

annie：我父亲就狠喜欢喝茶，他认识一个台湾茶商，买了二、三十年了。其实我才刚买了一些，然后带到学校办公室里泡。

ashley: is the taste not the same as the ones sold in stores?

ashley：味道跟外面卖的不一样吗？

annie: of course not! the high-quality high mountain tea sold in stores is usually very pricey, and the cheap ones are sometimes even mixed with low-quality tea leaves.

annie：当然不一样了。一般外面的茶店品质好的高山茶都狠贵，便宜的还可能混充劣茶呢！

ashley: do you think you can get your dad to buy me some?

ashley：那可以请你父亲帮我买一些吗？

annie: how about you come to my school around noon tomorrow? we can have lunch together and afterwards i’ll make some oolong tea for you to try. if you like it, i’ll place an order for you then. they should be able to have it delivered to your hotel before the day after tomorrow.

annie：这样好了，明天中午你找个时间到我学校来，我们一起吃饭，饭后我顺道泡给你喝喝看。如果你喜欢，我再帮你订，后天之前应该可以送到你住的饭店。

ashley: sounds good! come to think of it, i don’t think i’ve ever had top-notch oolong tea before!

ashley：好呀！我还真没喝过很好喝的乌龙茶呢！

annie: i guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

annie：一定不会让你失望的。

ashley: thank you so much! i’ll see you tomorrow then!

ashley：谢谢你。那我们明天见！

annie: you’re very welcome! see you!

annie：不用客气！明天见！
