valerie wants to start a business but she doesn’t have enough money. for this reason, she has decided to apply for a loan. today, she went to the bank and met with the bank manager.

valerie想要创业，但她没有足够的资金。因此，她决定申请贷款。今天，她去银行并且跟银行经理碰面。

valerie: hi, my name is valerie smith. i want to take out a small business loan.

valerie：嗨，我的名字是valerie smith。我想要申请小型企业借贷。

bank manager: please take a seat. have you filled out the loan application form?

银行经理：请坐。你填好了贷款申请表了吗？

valerie: no, not yet. i wanted to confirm a few things before going ahead with the application.

valerie：还没耶。我想要确认几件事情再开始申请。

bank manager: what would you like to know?

银行经理：你想瞭解些什么呢？

valerie: i want to know how long it will take for the approval to come through and if the interest rate for the loan increases or decreases during the loan term.

valerie：我想知道申请要花多久时间才会通过，还有贷款利率在贷款期间会不会增加或是减少。

bank manager: all right, first of all, the loan approval procedure will take 10 to 20 business days, depending on the information you provide. as for the interest rate, you can choose either a fixed interest rate loan or an adjustable interest rate loan.

银行经理：好的，首先，贷款申请程序将花10到20个工作天，依你提供的资讯而定。至於利率的部分，你能够选择固定利率的贷款或是机动利率的贷款。

valerie: i see. do you have a written document showing the differences between the two loans?

valerie：我了解了。你们有能够显现两种贷款差异的书面文件吗？

bank manager: yes, we do. in fact, all the terms and conditions of both types of loan can be found in the documents you received along with the application form.

银行经理：有的。事实上，两种贷款的所有条款都能在你收到的申请表随附的文件中找到。

valerie: really? i must have overlooked them.

valerie：真的吗？我一定是不小心忽略了。

bank manager: that’s okay. i have copies of the documents here. let me show you.

银行经理：没关系。我这里还有几份。我拿给妳看。
