美国在线词典"Urban Dictionary"近日收录"no zuo no die"

The Urban Dictionary, a Web-based dictionary of slang words and phrases, recorded a new network buzzword of Chinglish origin "no zuo no die".

No zuō no die

不作死就不会死

Bù zuō sǐ jiù bù huì sǐ

"No zuo no die" is a network buzzword of Chinglish origin. It means if you don't do stupid things, they won't come back and bite you in the ass. (But if you do, they most certainly will.) Zuo /zwo/ is a Chinese character meaning 'act silly or daring (for attention)'

"不做死就不会死" 为网络流行语,意为没事找事,结果倒霉,目前广泛流行于各大社区、论坛甚至主流媒体.

Example

A: Some dude baked cookies shaped like iPhone, held it by the mouth when driving, tried to mess with traffic cops.

甲:我认识个哥们,把饼干烤成iPhone手机的样子,他边开车边把饼干放到嘴边,故意逗交警玩.

 B: Did he pull it off?

乙:警察被骗到没?

A: Cop was pissed and ran his name through the system. Turns out he's got speed tickets unpaid!

甲:那警察被惹毛了,在系统里搜索了他的名字,发现他有超速罚单没交!

B: No zuo no die.

乙:真是不作死就不会死.
