fiona has put on 4kg since she came to taiwan to study three months ago because taiwanese food is too delicious. today, she decided to sign up for the school’s body toning club. upon arrival at the club’s office, the club leader, sophia, introduced their activities to her.

fiona来台湾唸书后，由於台湾美食太好吃了，三个月就胖了四公斤，她今天想报名学校的美体社。来到社团办公室后，社长sophia向她介绍社团里的活动。

fiona: hi, i’m fiona.

fiona：妳好！我是fiona。

sophia: hi, welcome to the body toning club! i’m sophia, the club leader.

sophia：嗨！欢迎来到美体社！我是社长sophia。

fiona: i was wondering if you could tell me about the activities the club offers.

fiona：请问美体社平常有哪些活动呢？我想要了解一下。

sophia: we have indoor and outdoor fitness activities organized by different instructors every day from monday through friday.

sophia：我们平常週一到週五都有安排一些活动，由不同的指导员安排一些室内外的健身活动。

fiona: what kind of indoor activities are there?

fiona：那室内方面有哪些活动呢？

sophia: the indoor activities include weight training, aerobics and beginner and advanced yoga classes. the activities are held either at the gym or dance studio.

sophia：室内部份包含重量训练、有氧体操、基础瑜珈与进阶瑜珈，场地分别在体育馆与舞蹈教室。

fiona: what about the outdoor ones?

fiona：那室外呢？

sophia: we have activities such as running and power walking.

sophia：我们安排了跑步与健走等项目。

fiona: when are the activities held?

fiona：那时间的话怎麼安排？

sophia: there are training classes at 6:30am, 12:30pm, 3:30pm until 5:30pm, and 7pm until 9pm from monday to friday. the activities are led by different instructors. here’s this month’s schedule. you can have a look.

sophia：我们週一至週五早上六点半、中午十二点半、下午三点半到五点半，还有晚上七点至九点都有相关的训练课程，分别有不同的指导员带领，这是我们这个月的时间表，这张行程给妳参考。

fiona: how much does it cost to join the club?

fiona：请问加入社团的费用？

sophia: it only costs s300 a semester. it’s pretty cheap, right?

sophia：我们的社费一学期是300元，狠便宜吧？

fiona: can i attend any activity i want?

fiona：所以任何一场活动我都可以参加吗？

sophia: of course! members are welcome to attend all of the activities. just remember to sign up for them the day before.

sophia：是的！只要是社员都可以参加，不过要记得前一天就要先报名喔！

fiona: all right, i want to join the club.

fiona：好，那我想要报名。

sophia: no problem. i’ll go get the application form for you. i’ll be back in a minute.

sophia：没问题。我拿报名表给妳喔！妳等等我拿表格给妳。
