基础英文──谈论兄弟姐妹

jenny and winnie have just met each other at a party. they are chatting about their families.

jenny和winnie刚在派对上认识。她们正在谈论彼此的兄弟姐妹。

jenny: do you have any siblings?

jenny：妳有兄弟姐妹吗？

winnie: yes, i have three actually. i have two younger brothers who are twins and an older sister. i’m the middle child.

winnie：有啊，其实我有三个兄弟姐妹。两个双胞胎的弟弟和一个姐姐。我是夹在中间的小孩。

jenny: lucky you! i’m an only child.

jenny：你真幸运！我是独生女。

winnie: i guess it’s good to have people to hang out and talk with, but having such a large family also means that our house is always chaotic.

winnie：我想有人陪伴、谈天还满不错的，但是家里这么多人也代表我们家永远都很吵闹。

jenny: do you guys fight a lot?

jenny：你们常常吵架吗？

winnie: when we were little, we used to fight over everything – the bathroom, tv remote control and front seat of the car. it used to drive my parents crazy! but we don’t fight as much now.

winnie：我们还小的时候，每一件事都能吵──浴室、遥控器还有车子前座。常常都要把我爸妈逼疯了！但是我们现在就没那麼常吵架了。

jenny: that’s good. how old are your brothers and sister?

jenny：那很好呀。你弟和姐姐年纪多大啊？

winnie: my brothers are two years younger than me and my sister and i are five years apart.

winnie：我两个弟弟比我小两岁，我姐跟我差了五岁。

jenny: i’ve always wanted to have an older sister.

jenny：我一直都很想要一个姐姐。

winnie: really? you can have mine! my sister acts like my second mom. she’s always nagging me. it’s so annoying!

winnie：真的喔？我姐可以给你！我姐就像我第二个妈一样。一直念我。超级烦！
