(写作范例) 為他人存在而存在

in this capitalist society, most of our relationships, except those with our families, are built on the pillars of wealth and fame. even school teachers are afraid of offending students and losing their jobs over it, let alone strangers or the society in which we live.

在这个资本社会里，人与人之间的关系，除了家庭之外，大都繫於名与利。连学校老师都怕得罪学生而失去工作，更何况是对陌生人，或是对我们所生活的社会呢？

if the purpose of maintaining our relationships with others is merely to benefit from them, then the true meaning of justice, art, culture and morality in life is lost. besides fame, wealth and health, there are actually many things in life that are worth pursuing.

如果维繫与他人的关系，都著眼在利益上，那人类对於公平正义，或是对於艺术、文化与道德的追求，恐怕都将丧失了人生的真諦。人生在生与死之间，除了名利、除了生病与老去之外，还有狠多值得我们努力追求的事。

fame and wealth should be the fruit borne from the pursuit of our dreams and proof of our worth, rather than our ultimate goal in life. after all, when our lives come to an end, fame and wealth will become meaningless and the only things we will be left with are emptiness and remorse. it is only through acts of altruism that we can acquire true and long-lasting happiness for every single one of us is living our lives for other people. in society, those who merely live for themselves are deemed insignificant and not at all worth noticing, are they not?

名与利，应该是在追求人生梦想、实现自我价值之后随之而来的，不应该成為我们為人生奋斗的唯一目标。毕竟名与利，在人生走到终点时一点也带不走，留下的却都只是空转与悔恨。只有学会利他，才能真正获得踏实与长久的幸福感，因為我们每一个人，都是為了他人存在而存在。為自己存在而存在的人，对别人而言，你根本就不存在，或是没有存在的必要，不是吗？

only those who understand the importance of giving can lead a long, fulfilling life.

懂得付出，才能永享幸福人生。
