生活英文──為了打扫而争吵

fiona and wendy are college classmates. unlike wendy, who is quite sloppy with her cleaning, fiona likes to keep her space clean and tidy. due to their differences, they had a fight at their dorm today.

fiona与wendy两个人是大学同学，fiona是一个狠爱乾净的女生，但wendy就有点大而化之。因為两人之间的差异，今天她们两位在宿舍争吵了起来。

fiona: wendy! could you please not leave your socks everywhere?

fiona：wendy！我拜托妳别乱丢袜子好不好！

wendy: come on, it’s not like they’re smelly or anything. i can still wear them tomorrow!

wendy：唉幼，又没有什麼味道，我明天还可以穿呀！

fiona: do you have any idea how many germs there are on them? how could you leave them on the table? and look at your bread! if you’re not going to finish it, you need to seal the packet! otherwise, the cockroaches and ants will all come!

fiona：妳知不知道这上面有多少病菌呀！妳竟然还把它放在桌上。还有还有，妳吃不完的麵包也要封好呀！这样会招来蟑螂蚂蚁耶！

wendy: fine, i’ll clean it up in a minute.

wendy：好啦好啦！我等会收。

fiona: wait, what’s that? why on earth do you have a bottle of juice under your bed? oh gosh…and it’s gone bad already. you’re so disgusting!

fiona：等等，这是什麼，妳床底下怎麼还有饮料罐，天呀！这果汁还没喝完，都臭掉了，妳也太恶心了吧！

wendy: hey, it’s my bed! i can leave whatever i want under it! you just mind your own business!

wendy：喂！这是我的床底下，跟妳有什麼关系呀？

fiona: actually, it is my business! no wonder the dorm has been smelling sour these past few days! it’s because of you!

fiona：妳敢说跟我没关系？难怪我这几天一直闻到酸酸的味道，原来就是因為妳！

wendy: geez…you’re like my mom – nagging me about everything!

wendy：妳怎麼跟我老妈子一样，喜欢管东管西的。

fiona: since we’re living in the same room, what you do affects me as well! you might not worry about getting sick, but i do! if i get sick, i’ll have to cover my own medical expenses! it’s tough enough juggling school and a part-time job. i really can’t afford to get sick. i’m not like you. i don’t get everything handed to me.

fiona：我跟妳一起住在这间宿舍里，当然跟我有关呀！妳不怕生病，但是我怕好吗？我要是生病了，我得要自付医药费耶！光是兼顾课业和打工就够我忙的了，我可没有本钱生病，我并不像妳什麼都是家里给得好好的。

wendy: what are you trying to say?

wendy：妳讲这话什麼意思？

fiona: all i’m saying is that if we’re going to live together, we need to be more considerate of each other.

fiona：我只是要告诉妳，既然住在一起，就别只考虑到妳自己，就这样。

wendy: fine, i’ll move out next semester! i bet nobody can put up with your germaphobia.

wendy：好吧！那我下学期搬出去好了，看有谁能受得了妳的洁癖。

fiona: suit yourself! but for now, please make sure you have good hygiene habits or we’ll have a lot more to fight about!

fiona：随妳便！但在这之前，请妳多注意妳的卫生习惯，否则以后我们还有得吵！
