注:agree 是"同意"的意思,一般指同级的人或机构之间经过讨论协商取得一致的意见,approve 是权力机关对某项计划,措施,行动,方法等的"批准","同意".也可表示上级对下级,长辈对小辈之间的"同意".

444. 我们完全赞同你在会上提出的计划.
[误] We fully agree with the plan you put forward at the meeting.
[正] We fully agree to the plan you put forward at the meeting.
注:表示"同意计划,建议,提议"时,agree 后接介词 to,而不接介词 with.

445. 我同意他认为需要多办些学校的意见.
[误] I agree with him to the need for more schools.
[正] I agree with him about the need for more schools.
注:用 agree 表示"同意某人(的意见)"时,后接介词 with:He agreed with me.(他同意我的意见.)若要表示"在某件事上同意某人的意见"时,要用 agree with sb. on/about sth.的结构.所以误句中的 to 须改为 on 或 about.

[误] His aim of going to English is to improve his knowledge of language.
