Restaurant English – Paying the Bill

餐饮英文──结帐

Monica and Jacqueline are dining at a steakhouse. They have just finished their meals and are about to pay the bill.

Monica与Jacqueline到牛排馆用餐，他们用餐后準备结帐。

Jacqueline: Excuse me!

Jacqueline：服务生！

Waitress: Yes ma’am, how can I help you?

服务生：小姐请问有什麼需要呢？

Jacqueline: Could I get the check, please?

Jacqueline：可以结帐了。

Waitress: Certainly. Umm, you ordered two New York Strips, and that comes to $1760.

服务生：好的。嗯，今天您点了两份纽约牛排套餐，一共1760元。

Jacqueline: I thought it was $800 for one New York Strip?

Jacqueline：不是一份800元吗？

Waitress: Yes, but we charge a 10% service fee.

服务生：因為我们有另收一成服务费。

Jacqueline: Ah…right. Do you take credit cards?

Jacqueline：喔，好吧！你们收信用卡吗？

Waitress: Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard and JCB cards. You can get a 5% discount if you use a JCB card.

服务生：我们收VISA、MASTER与JCB卡，JCB卡另有95折优待。

Jacqueline: Here is my credit card. It’s not a JCB card though.

Jacqueline：这是我的信用卡，可惜不是JCB卡。

Waitress: Okay, just a moment, please.

服务生：好的，请稍待片刻。
