Not all holidays have to be about fun in the sun.

不是所有的假期都非得在阳光下享受乐趣。

When many people think of holidays, they dream of sun and sand. However, adventurous people might want to explore colder parts of the world. If you’re interested in snow and glaciers, you could go on a different kind of holiday. There are many places in the world where you can see nature’s frozen beauty.

当很多人想到假期，他们梦想的是阳光和沙滩。但是，爱好冒险的人可能会想要探索地球上比较寒冷的地方。如果你对雪跟冰河有兴趣，你可以前往一种不同的假期。世界各地有许多地方都能让你见识到大自然冰冻的美景。

In Switzerland, there is the Glacier Express. This train takes travelers through snow-covered fields and past huge mountains. People on the train will see old stone castles and traditional, Swiss countryside houses. They’ll also get to see the Matterhorn. The last stop is St. Morritz, which is a well-known holiday spot for the world’s richest people.

在瑞士有冰河列车。这班火车会带旅客穿越大雪覆盖的平原以及巨大的山脉。列车上的乘客将会看见古老的石造城堡和传统的瑞士乡村屋舍。他们也会看到马特宏峰。最后一站是圣莫里茨，这是一个众所皆知的世界上最富有人们的度假景点。

Over in Canada, the Icefields Parkway is a stunning mountain road. It runs through the Rockies and it has some of the best scenery in the world. The road passes by towering mountains and frozen lakes. And, if you wake up early, you should also see some beautiful animals.

在加拿大，冰原大道是一段美不胜收的山区道路。它穿越洛矶山脉，拥有部分全球最美的景色。这段路经过高山和冰冻的湖泊。如果你很早醒来，应该也可以看到一些美丽的动物。
