美剧《熟女镇》播出以后，人们对代表熟女的cougar一词也熟悉起来。其实爱吃嫩草的女人还有一个别称，就是puma（美洲狮），指的是那些年纪在三十岁左右，魅力四射的轻熟女。

Puma refers to an attractive woman in her late 20s or early 30s. She is a pre-cougar. Cougar is an older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man.

“美洲狮”指的是年纪在三十岁左右的漂亮女人。她具有发展为熟女的潜力。熟女指的是经常光临夜店、以钓到年轻男子为目的的老女人。
