上班族英文──主管上任感言

The Human Resources Department announced today that Tina has been promoted to Head of Planning. In order to boost employee morale, Tina decided to invite her colleagues to dinner after their department meeting. Below is the speech she gave to her colleagues:

今天经人事通知，Tina升任成企划主管了，为了促进团结，她今天在部门会议之后，邀请她的同仁一起吃顿晚餐，凝聚团队的士气，以下是她会后对同仁所说的话：

As you all know, I am about to become the head of the planning department. While I’m over the moon about my new role, I’m also very worried for Vivian has done a great job being the head of the department over the past five years. Now that she has been promoted to Company Director, I’m going to have to try to fill her shoes.

大家都知道，我即将升任为企划部的主管，我个人非常开心，但也非常惶恐，因为过去这五年来，Vivian担任我们的主管，事情都做得相当好。如今她升任为公司协理了，我会试著做到她所做的。

Over the past years, Vivian has managed to maintain the planning department’s high levels of productivity. In the future, I hope our department can continue to sustain the momentum which she has created and fulfill all brand marketing related duties. I haven’t made any big plans just yet, but in regard to the goals senior management set for our department this year, I will start off by optimizing the procedures. When the time comes, I’ll be needing your help and cooperation as well.

Vivian过去几年为企划部带来非常稳定且良好的绩效。未来我们部门仍将承续她所创造的衝势，继续做好品牌行销的工作。短时间内，我暂时没有太大的计画，但我会依高层对今年给我们部门设定的目标，先从优化工作流程上著手。届时也请各多多帮忙与配合。

Just now, I invited Vivian to join us for dinner tonight at Howard Hotel, which is just across the road from here. I want to use the opportunity to not only thank Vivian for her leadership over the past five years, under which our department has been able to continuously expand, but also everyone for their past hard work. Dinner will be on me tonight, so please put your work aside for the time being and let’s have a blast! It would mean a great deal to me if you could all come along after work. Thank you.

刚才我特别邀请Vivian，于晚上与我们共进晚餐，地点就选在公司对面的福华饭店。一方面感谢Vivian过去这五年来的领导，让我们部门能不断扩展，另一方面，也感谢各位同仁这些日子以来的努力。今天晚上就由我做东，请大家暂时放下手上的工作，与大伙一起同欢。请各位下班后务必莅临赏光。在此谢谢各位。
