 (Business English) Notice Of Credit Limit Change To C.O.D

(商用英文) 因信用限制而改为货到付款的通知信

Dear Mr. Thompson:

亲爱的汤普森先生您好：

A recent review of your account indicates that your present balance owing to our firm is US$10,000. As we evaluate our customers’ credit limits carefully in order to meet both their needs and the needs of our business, we believe your credit limit is allowable and appropriate at this time.

最近审视您的帐户指出您现在欠我们公司的款项为一万美金。我们仔细评估我们客户的信用额度以符合客户以及我们交易上的需求，我们认为您的信用额度目前是在可允许的范围中并且适当。

Since you are currently at your maximum limit, however, any new orders will be have to be sent C.O.D. until the balance owing can be reduced to allow for such orders to be received on credit. While this may prove inconvenient, we currently believe that it is in both our interests to establish boundaries for professional relationships to be maintained. We apologize for any problems that may arise as a result of these current restrictions and would like to stress that our desire to do business with you remains unchanged at this time.

If you feel your limit is unsatisfactory for your needs, please contact our accounting department and arrange for a review of your finances in order to extend the limit further. If our accountant deems it appropriate, we would be happy to increase the limit for you.
