日前北京市交通工作会议透露，今年内将制订出中心城低排放区交通拥堵收费方案，北京最快将于2015年征收“拥堵费”。
Beijing is to unveil plans for a low-emission zone and vehicle congestion charge by the end of the year, with the measures to come into effect as early as 2015.

北京市环保局(Environmental Protection Bureau)相关负责人(the person in charge )两会期间曾表示，目前正在研究(research)伦敦市和米兰市关于低排放区(low-emission zone)拥堵收费(congestion charge)的两种模式，北京或将结合城市实际采用其中一种模式。

日前的全市交通工作会议(Working Conference on Transportation)上，市交通委表示，将着眼(take into consideration)于重点路段和区域(specific roadway and areas)，今年内制订出“中心城低排放区”交通拥堵收费方案(scheme)。
