今天是七夕节，我来写个应景的话题。 like 和 love 是两个常见英语单词。我们一般把 like 翻译为“喜欢”，把 love 翻译成“爱”。有人说“喜欢是淡淡的爱，爱是深深的喜欢”，意思我们都能理解，但其中的差异却是说不清、道不明的。

 

佛陀曾经以花做比喻，来说明 like 和 love 的区别，很有意思，大家体会一下：

在你喜欢的人的面前， 你的心跳加速。 在你爱的人的面前， 你会感到幸福。 点评：“喜欢”，让你心跳加速，这是多巴胺在起作用。“爱”，让你感到幸福，这是内腓肽在起作用。

 

 With the person you like, Winter is just beautiful winter. With the person you love, Winter seems like spring.

和你喜欢的人在一起， 冬天只是一个美丽的冬天。 和你爱的人在一起， 冬天如同春天一样温暖。 点评：可见“喜欢”，只是量的增加；而“爱”，才是质的飞跃！

 

If you look into the eyes of the one you like, You blush. If you look into the eyes of the one you love, You smile.

 当你看着你喜欢的人的眼睛， 你会脸红。 当你看着你爱的人的眼睛， 你会微笑。 点评：喜欢，让你产生诸如脸红心跳等生理反应；而爱，会让你绽放代表着内心平和的笑容。

 

 So if you stop liking a person you used to like, All you need to do is cover your ears. But if you try to close your eyes, Love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever...

所以，如果你不想喜欢一个人的时候， 你需要做的仅仅是堵上耳朵； 但让你尝试闭上双眼的时候， 爱，会化成一滴泪水，并且永远留在你的心里...... 点评：眼睛是心里的窗户，眼神直达心灵。有没有爱，从一个人的眼神中可以读出。而耳朵只能接收一些肤浅的信号，比如甜言蜜语。
