不管你说着何种语言，最棒的使之一就是用它来赞美他人。你可能会因为别人的行动、长相或拥有的某物而赞美他人。

下面是英语中用来赞美他人的形式和短语。我将赞美语分成了在正式和非正式场合中，赞美别人的能力、长相和所有物三类。

 

 A．Complimenting Ability

赞美别人的能力

 

我们可以使用这些短语来赞美某人的能力。

 If you'd like to learn something from the person about his / her ability, start with a compliment. The person will probably help you learn more and be happy to talk about how to do it.

如果你想从某人那里学习他/她的能力，就可以以一句赞美的话作为开始语。那个人很可能就会帮助你学到更多知识，并欣然分享实施的方法。

 

1.Formal 正式

If you don't mind my saying, you are a(n) excellent / outstanding / superb + (noun phrase)

希望你不介意我这么说，你真是一位优秀的/杰出的/极好的+（名词短语）

I must say you really know how to + (verb) 我必须得说，你真的很会+（动词）

 You are a fine + (noun phrase) 你是一名优秀的+（名词短语）

What a(n) excellent / outstanding / superb / + (noun phrase) you are! 你真是一位优秀的/杰出的/极好的+（名词短语） I admire your ability to + (verb) 我真羡慕你+（动词）的能力

Mr. Smith, if you don't mind my saying, you are an excellent public speaker. 史密斯先生，如果你不介意我这么说，你真是一位优秀的演讲者。

I must say you really know how to paint. 我必须得说，你太会画画了。

I admire your ability to think on your feet. 我真羡慕你反应迅速的能力。

 

2.Informal 非正式 You're great at (verb + ing) 你很擅长（动词-ing形式）

You can really (verb) 你真的很会（动词）

Wow, I wish I could (verb) as well as you! 哇喔，我真希望能做得跟你一样好！

You're an amazing / awesome / incredible + (noun phrase) 你真是一位令人赞叹的/极好的/不可思议的+（名词短语）

Wow! You're great at skiing! 哇喔！你滑雪滑得真好！

You can really cook. This is amazing food! 你做菜的手艺真棒。多么诱人的食物呀！

You're an awesome student. 你是一名优秀的学生。
