 film&movie film 英式表达，除了有电影的意思，还有图片、电影胶卷的意思。 movie 美国人常用，只表示电影。 去看电影可以用： go to the movie (美）

 

 ✓ go to the cinema (英）

✓ 但绝不能用 go to the film✕ cinema & theater & movie theater cinema 英式表达，电影院，使用较为普遍 theater 剧院，上演话剧、电影或其它戏剧的建筑、房屋或露天结构 movie theater = cinema 电影院
