人多拥挤可以用“crowded”来形容。

 

一般的例句有“The bus station is too crowded to step in.”公交车站实在太挤了，所以挤不进去。

 

但是，拥挤还有一种更加地道的说法，就是“be jam-packed”，意思是拥挤不堪的。

 

例句有“The bus station is jam-packed with people.”公交车站挤满了人。

“be jam-packed”这个词组可以和“crowded”替换使用，是个还蛮地道的说法。商城里面挤满了人，可以说“The shopping mall is jam-packed inside.”新年的时候，肯定会有很多的亲戚来拜访，可以说“My home will be jam-packed when the relatives come to visit us inspring festival.”

 

新年的时候，家里都会挤满了来拜访的亲戚。 其实，很多时候，车站啊、地铁拥挤，很多时候都是因为很多人不守秩序，随心所欲地行动。这样一种不受控制的混乱场面，很多人都会喜欢用“out of control”来形容。例句有“The situation is sometimes out of control in the bus station.”

 

在车站里，情况偶尔会失控。这里，小编推荐一个词可以替换使用“a free-for-all”。从字面上的意思就是“大家有事自由自在的”，因此可以理解成为“随之所欲，混乱的情况”。例句有“The situation is a free-for-all sometimes in the bus station.”

 

其实，这个词组的用法还很多。形容交通的混乱无序，可以说“The traffic is a messy free-for-all.”

 

 如果说班上的学生很调皮，老师不在的时候在捣乱，可以说“The class is a free-for-all when the teacher is absent.”

又或者说现场完全失控，可以说“Now, this place is a complete free-for-all, we need more people to help.”
