1. China's Shenzhou 11 was launched on Monday (7:30 p.m. Sunday ET) from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi Desert. 周一，神舟十一号航天飞船在酒泉卫星发射中心发射升空了。

2. From the launch station in Inner Mongolia, the crowd were watching as a rocket tore through the sky.

3. This is China's longest-ever crewed space mission. The spaceship will dock with the Tiangong-2 space lab, which was launched last month. 这将是中国为时最长的一次载人航天任务。飞船将会和天宫二号空间实验室对接。

 

4. On board are two taikonauts -- Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong. During the 30-day mission, they will carry out a number of medical and space science experiments, as well as new technology tests in the space lab. 景海鹏和陈冬两位宇航员在这次任务当中将会完成医学和太空科学相关的一些实验，以及新技术的应用测试。
