Terry is a chef. He is teaching Melissa how to make a dish.

泰瑞是个厨师。他在教导梅丽莎怎么做一道菜。

Terry: Now, cut the garlic into thin slices.

泰瑞：现在，把大蒜切成薄片。

 Melissa: Like this?

 梅丽莎：像这样吗？

Terry: Even thinner than that.

 泰瑞：比那样还要更薄。

 Melissa: How about now?

梅丽莎：现在这样呢？

Terry: Better. Now, throw the garlic into the pan with the other ingredients.

泰瑞：有比较好。现在，把大蒜丢进平底锅裡和其他食材一起。

Melissa: Do I throw in the onions as well?

梅丽莎：我也要把洋葱丢进去吗？

Terry: Yes. Everything that’s not already in the pan needs to go into the pan.

泰瑞：对。所有还不在平底锅裡的东西都要下进去平底锅裡。

Melissa: Now what?

梅丽莎：然后现在呢？

 Terry: Stir-fry for about 4 minutes, then you’re done!

泰瑞：翻炒大约四分钟，然后就完成了！

Melissa: This is surprisingly simple!
