Tom : Linda, what would you like to do tonight? 琳达，你今天晚上想做什么？

Linda : Maybe I'll stay at home and watch TV. 我可能会待在家里看电视。

Tom : All right. Let's look at the TV Guide and find out what's on TV tonight. 好吧。我们查一下电视收视指南，看一看今天晚上播什么？

Linda : Mm...It says a fashion show at 9 PM on channel 3. 喔…上面说晚九点在三频道有时装表演。

Linda : I won't miss it. 我不会错过的。

Tom : Me, neither. 我也不会。

Linda : The TV programmes today are really boring. 今天的电视节目真乏味。

Tom : I feel the same. 我有同感。

Linda : What if we buy a few videodiscs? 我们去买一些影碟怎么样？

Tom : That sounds like a good idea. 那听上去是个好主意。

Tom : They might have some good movies. 说不定会有一些好看的电影。

Tom : For God's sake, you're not going to watch TV again, are you? 拜托，你不会还要再看电视吧？

Linda : Why not? The programs are not that bad. 为什么不？电视节目没有那么糟呀。

Tom : I'm fed up with them. 我已经看腻了那些节目。

Tom : Why don't we do something else for a change? 干吗不做点别的，换换口味。

Tom : We can rent some DVDs. 我们可以租一些DVD来看。

Linda : That's not a bad idea. 那不是一个坏主意。
