  F :  What if I quit this job?
如果我辞掉工作怎么样？
 
M :  You'd better think twice.
你最好好好想想。
 
F :  I'm just tired of it.
我就是厌倦了。
 
M :  Maybe you need to have a rest.
也许你需要休息休息。

M :  It's so foggy and the airport may be closed.
雾太大了，飞机场也许关闭了。
 
F :  What if I can't get a plane out tonight?
如果我今晚走不了怎么办？
 
M :  If that happened, would you like to stay with us?
如果真是那样，你愿意留在我们这里吗？
 
F :  Thanks for offering.
谢谢！
 
F :  I wonder if I should call the airlines?
我不知是否该给航空公司打个电话？
 
M :  I'll have my secretary call for you.
我让我秘书替你打好了。

怎么叫他都没关系的。
 
M :  I just wouldn't be comfortable calling him Tim.
叫他蒂姆我感觉怪怪的。
 
F :  What if you call him Mr. Larsson until you get to know him better?
你先称呼他拉尔逊先生，等跟他熟悉以后再说，这样如何？
 
M :  That sounds good.
