Salesgirl :  What can I do for you?
我能帮你什么吗？
 
Tom :  I bought this vacuum cleaner here yesterday.
昨天我在这儿买了这台真空吸尘器。
 
Tom :  But it doesn't seem to work.
但是好像不能用。
 
Salesgirl :  Do you have a receipt?
你有收据吗？
 
Tom :  I lost it but I'd still like a refund.
我弄丢了，但是我还是想要退钱。
 
Salesgirl :  Did you buy it on sale?
你是在特价的时候买的吗？
 
Tom :  Yes, I did.
是的。
 
Salesgirl :  I'm sorry, but we don't give refunds on sale items.
很抱歉，特价的东西我们不退钱。
 
Salesgirl :  You'll have to talk to the manager.
你必须和经理谈谈看。

Mary :  Yes, I have a complaint to make.

Mary :  Yesterday I bought a shirt here.

Mary :  But at home, I found there is a stain on it, I want to return it.
可回到家，我发现上面有污点，我要求退货。
 
Salesman :  We're very sorry.
非常抱歉。
 
Salesman :  Do you have the receipt?
你有发票吗？
 
Mary :  Yes, here you are.
有，给。
 
Salesman :  Would you wait for a moment while I get the refund for you?
请您等一下好吗？我去给您拿退款。

Tom :  Can I get a refund on this?
这个能退款吗？
 
Mary :  I'm afraid you can't.
恐怕不行。
 
Tom :  Then can I exchange it for something else?
那么我可以换成别的东西吗？
 
Mary :  I can't decide it myself.
我不能自己决定。
 
Mary :  Will you speak to our manager?
你愿意和我们经理谈一下吗？
 
Tom :  I think I will.
