Tom :  Anyone against this?
有人反对吗？
 
Linda :  Mr. Chairman, I utterly reject that view.
主席先生，我绝对不赞成那种观点。
 
Tom :  The president has asked for the pros and cons of this change.
总裁已经徵求了对此变革的正反两方面意见。
 
Linda :  I think the proposal is quite irresponsible.
我认为这个提议很不负责任。
 
Tom :  Could you elaborate your views?
你能详细阐述一下你的见解吗？
 
Linda :  What I mean is that the business is still good.
我的意思是说营业情况仍然良好。
 
 
商务英语对话2：公司状况
Tom :  I often hear about your company.
我常听说贵公司。
 
Linda :  Our company is one of the major manufacturers of quality fabrics.
本公司是主要的高级服饰厂商之一。
 
Tom :  How many employees do you have?
你们有多少员工？
 
Linda :  We have nearly 8,000 employees including those working in the affiliated company.
我们有接近八千名员工，包括分公司在内。
 
Tom :  What's the total amount of your annual sales?
你们的年销售量是多少？
 
Linda :  It's about $600,000,000.
大约六亿美元。

Tom :  Price does not present any problems.

Linda :  What kind of payment terms can you offer?
你们能提供怎样的付款条件？
 
Tom :  Is D/P acceptable to you?
付款交单你们能接受吗？
 
Linda :  We only accept payments by L/C.
我们只接受信用证付款。
