A suspected Chinese jewelry thief accused of stealing millions of dollars worth of diamonds across the world has been arrested in Switzerland during another robbery, Interpol said on last Friday.
国际刑警组织12日证实，涉嫌在世界多国作案，盗窃价值数百万美元珠宝的中国籍珠宝大盗在瑞士犯案时落网。

Chinese national Jianguo Meng, 46, is linked to over a dozen heists(抢劫案) since 2012, including the theft(盗窃) of a diamond ring(钻戒) worth US$1.5 million from Bahrain last year, and was subject to an Interpol Red Notice(国际刑警红色通报), the international police organization said.
 
"Meng and an accomplice(共犯) were arrested(逮捕) in Zurich when a jewelry store(珠宝店) employee recognised(认出) him from the industry alert(警示) and called police(报警)," it said in a statement.
 
He now faces extradition(引渡) to Bahrain.
