Precautionary measures are being put in-place in the city of Guangzhou to stop the potential spread of the Ebola virus, which has killed hundreds of people in west Africa this year.

广州已采取预防措施阻止埃博拉病毒的传播,该病毒今年已在西非国家导致数百人丧生.

Ebola virus disease (埃博拉病毒,EVD)常见症状有：高烧、出血以及中枢神经系统损伤（central nervous system damage）,该病毒潜伏期（incubation period）为2到21天,致死率（fatality rate）高达90%,病毒通过接触患者的血液、分泌物或其他体液（bodily fluids）传播.

世卫组织认为,非洲的果蝠（fruit bats）可能是埃博拉病毒的天然宿主（natural host）.目前没有针对该病毒的疫苗（vaccine）或治愈办法（cure）.
